Jacob Bordignon is an Italian-American entrepreneur and policy advocate, originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is the founder of The Meritum Project, a non-profit organization focused on expanding open-source education in specialized sectors for students at under-represented colleges and universities.

In addition to involvement with numerous political organizations and several campaigns, his professional work has concentrated on the intersection of financial, legal, and public policy industries — most recently, in his CRE role for Situs Group (CalSTRS div). He is the only student employed by the team for CalSTRS, the 10th largest pension fund ($352B AUM), and the 7th largest real estate portfolio globally.
